Andrew McKinney
(Baptist Missions : Spain)  

Over a number of years, Andrew has had a deepening interest in the work of Baptist Missions in southern Spain and had taken part in a series of Baptist Missions summer teams in Algeciras.

In the early months of 2008 having completed a course of study at Queen's University Belfast to prepare him for teaching English in a foreign country, he was accepted by Baptist Missions as an Associate Voluntary Missionary and left Ballymena in August 2008.

In his current "tent maker" role he has been working in one of the language schools in Algeciras. In addition to teaching, Andrew has been working alongside Andrew and Ruth Reid and Andrew and Rosalia Elliott helping within the Crista Viene church and in various outreach activities in the area.
